Job summary

Private investment funds produce significant amounts of operational and performance data.  Clients and GPFS management require that data to be organized, readily accessible and flexible for different stakeholders.  This new role will have responsibilities to ensure these objectives are met.

Required Education and Experience

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related degree and/or an advanced degree in Data Analytics, Finance or Business Administration.
  2. High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  3. Experience with performance calculations.
  4. Knowledge of investment & economic principals / terms (markets, asset classes, fund classes, sectors etc.)
  5. Understanding of performance and Benchmarking calculations and terminology (GIPS, PME)
  6. Ability to identify trends, patterns, or abnormalities in data sets
  7. Ability to simplify complex data sets
  8. Preferred experience in the following:
    1. Macro / VBA
    2. SQL / SSRS
    3. R / Python
    4. Cloud data warehouse (Google Big Query / AWS Redshift)
    5. Business Intelligence products

Job summary

The Fund Administrator role assists the Client Reporting team in servicing our firm clients. Responsibilities consist primarily of performing daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities across multiple entities. This position will require regular interaction with team members.

Required Education and Experience

  • Associates degree in an accounting related field
  • 3+ years accounting/bookkeeping experience in lieu of Associate Degree
  • 1+ years accounting experience preferred for Associates degree candidates

The Investor Relations Specialist will be responsible for specialized reporting and data management related to our client’s investors. These private investors include institutional entities and high net worth individuals from all over the globe.  This highly visible role will be supporting investor relation objectives from the onboarding process of an investment vehicle through its full life cycle.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
  • Minimum 1-3 years’ related experience

The Operations Administrator role assists the Operations teams in servicing our firm clients. Responsibilities consist primarily of performing daily, monthly, quarterly and annual accounting activities across multiple entities. This position will require regular interaction with team members.

Job summary

This highly dynamic role will be responsible for the coordination of providing relevant data to client third party professional tax firms and review of the resulting tax returns. This role will also centralize other essential tax administration matters that private investment funds and their advisors are required to manage, including review of complex investment transactions, carried interest effect, and analysis of investor and GP tax implications. Additionally, the Specialist will provide periodic client tax reporting, as well as ensure that GPFS professionals are kept abreast of relevant regulatory climate and changes.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related degree and/or an advanced degree in Accounting, Taxation, JD or L.L.M.
  • 4+ years tax experience, private equity or real estate partnership taxation experience preferred
  • CPA qualification desired
  • Experience with tax research
  • Strong knowledge of industry related topics such as carried interest, management fee waiver, QSBS, blocker entities

Job summary

The Treasury Administrator will be providing day-to-day treasury activity for firm clients. Responsibilities consist of bookkeeping across multiple entities, processing payments from client accounts and providing administrative support to the fund accounting team. This position will require regular interaction with clients and team members.

Required Education and Experience

  • AA/AS in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field desired
  • Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in Treasury, Accounting, or Finance
  • Previous treasury experience preferred

Job summary

Fund Accountants and Senior Fund Accountants submit assigned day to day back-office tasks for review to fund products supervisors. Work is conducted in a highly structured team and control environment. Client engagements generally are full service and include responsibilities ranging from general ledger maintenance to financial and investor reporting. Assignments can fall into the quarterly reporting cycle or high paced ad hoc client or investor requests.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
  • Proficiency with software related products such as Microsoft Excel.

Job summary

This role will oversee accounting for the firm’s private equity clients as well as managing transactional accounting issues including, dispositions, sales, and other investment actions. This role will oversee a team and will report to a director andor CEO.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
  • CPAMBA preferred
  • 5+ years’ experience in AccountingFinance, 3 of which are progressive Private Equity experience
